Copy files from linux to windows

One comment

Do you like to transfer files from linux to windows or vice verse ?

I Got to know today about a very cool tool know as WinSCP. It internally uses Secure Copy / Secure FTP to copy files between any remote and client machine.

I usually do tar, gz and upload to a ftp/http server and download it on my remote computer, from now on - i will stick to WinSCP. Hats off to WinSCP developers.

  1. you could always use putty’s scp client, i love the putty effort since it is opensource.

    putty: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtat..

truly recommended by most, if not all, of the linux community for it’s stability and reliability.
